file lost

I have been unable to open a Access database. I can see
the file name in my hard drive folder and in the list of
recent databases in Access. However, when I click on the
file name, Access opens with a blank screen (my file is
not there). I've tried opening it in several different
ways and have even copied it and tried to open that.
Nothing seems to work. I just started the database
yesterday and it was lost before I could back up the file.
Any suggestions on how I could get the database back would
be appreciated.

Have you tried holding the Shift key down while you are opening the
database?

This should bypass the Start-up options and present the Database Containers
window.
