Hello NG,
Can someone please point me to the answer, or help me with a question?
When you hold the mouse over a file in the Windows Explore you get a box
similiar to a tool tip that has the file attributes, .exe, .doc, or most any
of the files types.
Is it possible to change, modify, edit or add information to this little
window.
I have a few files that have an ascii graphic in them and I would like to be
able to do this also.
Thanks
James

The entry in known as an infotip and the one that applies to all files unless overridden for a specific file is here
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*
Text and fields can't be mxed. Just enter text if that's what you want.

David,
Thanks, but how would I add a comment to just one file so that it doesn't
show up in all the files?

Well you probably can't till you say what you are doing. I just won't play 20 questions and answers. Not enough infomation to give a reply.
