Is there somewhere I can find a good tutorial for VB.NET file I/O. I have googled, but I cant
tell which hits are any good, or not. I would also be interested in a good book that covers file
I/O if someone has one to recommend.

Hi Rick,

Did you ask this also in the adonet group?

Bill Vaugh is often and Sceppa sometimes active in that newsgroup.

I think that they surely will have an advice for you.
Although I expect an answer from Jay B. here also.

I hope this helps,

Hi Rick,

Not because it was Ado.net, but because it is IO related.
Mostly people who do with Ado.net do a lot with IO, therefore I had the idea
of dropping it there.

Rick,

I'm not aware of any books specifically on file I/O... Do you have
specific questions or topics that you would like help with?
