I have some .jpg files in a folder. Just worked with file yesterday and all
was fine. This morning I try to access these files and they all come up
blank. I may get a note on the screen which includes the mention: "Can't read
file header! Unknown file format. They all have the usual .jpg ending. What
must I do to correct the problem? Thank you.

John, Thank you for your quick response, but my files still show the usual
info about size of file, etc. the only problem is the file screen shows up
black and this for all of the files in the folder. I went to another folder
and those files are just fine.
