Good Day...

Just new to the FP Scene and am utilizing FP2003. Understand that the auto
default for the file formats is 2002 and this can be changed through
tools>options>advanced default file formats to 2002-2003.

My question is which file format should I actually be working with and what
impact will this have on my database if I am using one versus the other.

Recommendations on which file format I should be using as default would be
appreciated and am very curious to know the impacts on the results.

What do you mean?

The file formats FP works with are html, htm, asp, php, txt, jpg, gif, and
of course...etc.

There isn't a Tools | Options | Advanced in FP2003, there's a Tools |
Options | Configure Editors...is that what you mean? You don't need to mess
with that unless you want to register a third party editor of some sort like
Photoshop or Top Style CSS editor.

There's a Tools | Site Settings | Advanced but that's got nothing to do with
file formats, the default here is Javascript...and you'd want to show Hidden
Files and Folders...that's about it there.
