File folder views

Help! With Windows 98 I could open a folder and along the bottom of my screen I would get the details. No more....it's annoying. I like to see the file size when I open the folder - not have to go into properties to look. I like a quick view. The only way I can see file size is when I view folders through "My Computer" How annoying. Any suggestions?

Are you referring to the status bar? Click view/status bar.
