Hello,

Howcome some of my file folers are in blue colors? When I click "My
Computer", my "Shared Documents" and "Local Disk (C:)" are in blue colour.
And when I click "Local Disk (C:)", some of the files appear in blue colors.
I rebooted the computer and still showing the same. Did I do something
wrong? Any idea? Thanks.

David

Nothing to worry about. The blue files have been compressed to save disk
space. This is a normal XP operation.

Greetings --

By design, WinXP compresses files that do not get used frequently,
and, if you've left the default settings intact, displays those files
in blue.

If you wish to change this behavior, in Windows Explorer, click
Tools > Folder Options > View > Advanced settings: Show encrypted or
compressed NTFS files in color.
