File Extension XLR

Every file that we download is being renamed with a .XLR
file extension. Example: a sample.zip becomes
sample.zip.XLR.

I can not find which program is doing this evil deed.

Anybody else?

A quick google search with the following (+XLR +"file
extension"), came up with several lists pointing XLR to
Microsoft Works.

Maybe this will happen you get started in tracking it down.

Scan your machine with a good virus detection program. One that has
up to date definitions loaded. I'm not sure what's happening to your
files but it certainly is not normal.
