File extension problem

I have a problem where my PDF files are trying to be opened by 'WINDOWS PICTURE AND FAX VIEWER' although I have my Folder Options set up correctly to open with ACROBAT READER and the correct icon is associated twith the PDF files.

The files open fine using ACROBAT READERand if I right click and open with ACROBAT READER but not when I click on the icon when it tries to open with 'WINDOWS PICTURE AND FAX VIEWER'.

Any ideas anyone ?

Click START button|RUN, and type this...

regsvr32 /u shimgvw.dll <enter>

If any negative consequences, simply reinstate it...

regsvr32 shimgvw.dll <enter>
 
Sorry Dev this hasn't fixed it....................PDF's are now opening OK but my JPEG's are not opening with Window Picture and FAX viewer now
