On my work computer my PPT 2003 does NOT show the file
extension of PowerPoint on the tile bar (for example
Microsoft PowerPoint - [Document 1])

But home computer of PPT 2003 DOES show the file
extension of .ppt in the title bar. (for example,
Microsoft PowerPoint - [Document 1.ppt]}

Any idea why?

1. Go into MS Explorer
2. Click on Tools > Folder Options
3. Select VIEW tab
4. REMOVE the check mark that is on "Hide extensions for known file types"
4. Click OK

Maybe...Open Windows Explorer on the work computer. Under Tools > Folder
Options > View, uncheck 'Hide file extensions for known file types'.

If you click the 'Like Current Folder' button, this change applies to the
entire system.
