Not sure if this is really an IE issue, but it only happens in this
browser:
I have a number of PDF downloads at my site. When trying to download
them with Internet Explorer, the browser will load Acrobat Reader which
will display the error message "File does not begin with %PDF", as if
additional PHP headers were sent.
However, if you save the file first and open it regularly (instead of
browser-invoked), it opens fine, so the files aren't corrupt.
This does not happen with any other browser, and I've only , so there
must be some anormality I haven't figured out yet.
The server is running Apache with mod_rewrite, all pages make use of
PHP (no output buffering).
Try it out at yfu.de/downloads (click on any PDF download on the page)
and see if you can reproduce the error.
Any help is appreciated!
