Have noted the following scenario, thought it was a mistake
but has since been confirmed. Wondered if anyone else has
seen/witnessed/fixed same.
typical config. with Windows 2000 client logged into Win2K
server. particular user accesses a network share on server
with full rights, including delete. File deleted from the
server does not go into Recycle bin on either server or on
the client desktop. Both server and client are configured
to move deleted files to the recycle bin. Both are set to
ask for deletion confirmation. local files deleted from @
respective machine do go to the recycle bin, but deleting
files from shared folder results in permanent deletion. Is
this typcial, has anyone else experienced the same thing?
