internet explorer will not execute. gives me the "problem found please send to microsoft"
Looks like the ie file is damaged or corrupted. Will not let me uninstalled/reinstall the program
Can't find the usual scan disk type utility to fix corrupt areas. How to reinstall or remove internet explorer

Any thoughts ?

Hi

From Start>Run type the following - you will need to have your XP CD to hand:

sfc /scannow

Failing that, try here:

"How to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP"
