Hi!

I'm using Vista and the Mobile Device Center 6.1 (both german).

I experienced the following issue:

When opening a folder on the device and later copying files from it to
the desktop, the file (size) will not be checked for changes. The file
information from the moment the folder has been opened will be taken.

Files that have become larger will be truncated!!

Szenario:
A program on WM saves its config into a file when closing.
- I opened the folder
- Config file is 88 Bytes
- I closed the program
- Config file should be 104 bytes but still is displayed as 88 bytes long
- I copied the file to the desktop
- The file on the desktop is only 88 bytes long! The rest of the file
has not been copied!!

Can anybody confirm this bahaviour?

Kind regards,

Benjamin Lukner

If you press F5 after closing the application does the file information
correctly update?

Peter

Hello, I have the same problem with Windows CE 5 image on my x86
CEPC. Unfortunately, answer from MS is only: it should work. I didn't get any
reasonable support. Image was build according to instructions in MSDN, so
nothing unusual.

Yes, it does. I had forgotten to mention.

I always have to re-enter the folder respectively to press F5 before
copying a file from the device.

Benjamin
