Has anyone used the following converter software?

I have .xif type files left over from past times when Pagis Pro was used
for scanning, text ocr and images. Now as some of those old files are needed
they are in .xif format. If they are going to be useful (again) they have to
be changed to another file type. The Xeros Pagis software had an export
facility to change the .xif to another file format. It appears that Scansoft
is not continuing with the concept of PagisPro.

The Konvertor site says the evaluation download (7mg zip) is unlimited in
its use.

Konvertor v3.36.1 http://www.logipole.com/indexe.html

multimedia viewer/converter supporting conversion among 811 image,
animation, audio, video and text formats quickly and easily

Perhaps someone knows of another source for converting .xif files to a
current day usable file type.?

How do I convert my .XIF files to be viewed in PaperPort?

Products: PaperPort 9.0 Deluxe, Pro 9 Office

Information:

One of the latest features added in PaperPort 9 is a Pagis File
Converter Wizard. This Wizard allows you to convert Pagis .XIF files to
PDF image files which can be displayed on the PaperPort Desktop.

PaperPort Viewers

The PaperPort Viewer enables you to share PaperPort items with others
who do not have PaperPort on their computer. It allows others to view
and print PaperPort image items (.max files) that you send to them via
e-mail.
