file conversion

Have many files written with Windows 95 version of Word.
Now have Windows XP. How can I change olf word files to
new ones so that I can transfer files onto CDs?

In order to copy files to cd, you shouldn't ahve to do any sort of
conversion; just go ahead and copy them.
