File conversion Win Media File to Mpeg

Is possible to convert a Media File AV file to a Movie File mpeg? If so how
do you go about it?

Don't upgrade, don't be told how you will use software you have paid for.
No home user should have to purchase multiple copies of software for
installation on 2 or 3 home computers.
If new software is not absolutely essential don't make new purchases if PA
is required to use the software.
Microsoft started it and now every software company is doing it. Well its
our time to do something, boycott and don't buy broken software.

Use any of the numerous, free applications designed for that purpose. There
are many and they are available by using Google.

I could tell you how, but since you are boycotting the software,
it won't do you much good. Sorry. Too bad about that.
