I have transferred my old Office 2000 files to Windows XP. Now all of my
files are out of order from th eway they were when I was using Windows 2000.
Windows XP doesn't recognize zeros at the beginning of a file name, it sorts
the file by the first hole number. The next issue is that XP also uses a dash
as if it is breaking up a number.
Examples:
00400 is now near the beginning of the 4's. I say beginning because 48-300
would come before 00400 because 48 comes before 400. this is not the way that
Windows 2000 arranged files.
Is there anything that I can do to correct this?
