I've created a presentation with many imported graphics,
primarily pdfs and jpegs (some pngs). The file size of
the presentation is too large for my client to reasonably
email, which she'd very much like to do. A series of just
six of the slides shows up on her pc (after i email it to
her) as 8 megs. It shows as 4.8 on my Mac.
I've tried all sorts of things to try to make the files
smaller: saving the pdfs (for example) at 72 dpi, saving
files as gifs. These strategies get me nowhere. In fact,
I subbed out five instances of a 162 K pdf for a 35 K gif
of the same image. When I saved the PPT file, it said my
file was now larger by a megabyte! I'm tearing my hair
out. The presentation has been successful for my client's
company, but she really needs to send it around. Any
ideas? Thank you in advance
