I use the following the keep my system running clean:

Disk CleanUp
PCBugDoctor
RegClean
CCleaner
Error Checking (Disk Scan)
Disk Frag
Ad-Adware SE Personal
MS AntiSpyware
Norton Anti-Virus

1. In which order should I run these?
2. Am I missing any I should be using?
Tks

Most important, not mentioned is Windowsupdate.
Perhaps you have done this already.

If you install SP2 you will get a good Firewall, automatic
updates and a security center which tells you about missing
safety functions.

Important:

MS AntiSpyware, manual or scheduled full scan perhaps once
a week
Norton Antivirus, manual or scheduled full scan perhaps
once a week

Check that "Live update" works perhaps once a week for both
and that
realtime protection is active on both.

Less important, perhaps monthly checks with below:
Disk CleanUp
PCBugDoctor
RegClean
CCleaner
Error Checking (Disk Scan)
Disk Frag
Ad-Adware SE Personal

You must have time to other things then "scans" with your PC.

Happy computing.

;)

Tks for the info and yes I do have SP2 installed and have
auto check for updates.

Any thoughts in which order to do the task I listed?
Tks inadvance

Well, this is a tricky question ;)
To have all of these programs is not necessary.

Not mentioned again is to have backups, DVD burners
are cheap today or if you have a CD burner so this
is more important then running all of these programs.
Your harddisk can "explode" within a second.

If you also running NTFS as filesystem you have built
in protection.

One proposal anyway.

Antivirus and Antispyware, once aweek, full scan.

Monthly:
1. CCleaner
2. Regcleaner
3. Adaware
4. Diskcleaner, PCbugdoctor, Diskscan, Diskfrag is
"överkill" I think to run monthly, run these if you
feels that you system has slowed down.

Tks for the info plun
