While copying files from a floppy disc (A:) to my cd-rom (E:) drive, the file
attributes change from "archive" to "read-only", not allowing modifications
on the cd. When I change the attributes to allow modifications, I get the
error message that I am not allowed access to the file and the attributes are
not changed the next time I look at them. I use Nero Ahead to burn the cd.
Also, I do have administrator rights to all files and the computer.
Could anyone please help?? Am at my wit's end.

thanks.

Hi,

Unless you are using packet writing (UDF) software, you cannot change the
file that is written to CD. This is normal. Nero includes InCD, but you must
be using it to write to disk, not the regular burning program.
