File Associations

Is there a way to install office 2007 without it changing my file
associations?

I don't think you can since they are all native to Office. Considering that
none of these file extensions are coming from Outlook, you might want to
repost this in newsgroup dedicated to Office installations.
 
I did post in the office setup group, but I haven't gotten a response as
of yet.
