File Association Pictures

I have several icons - Printers for example that no longer have the picture
for the icon associated with them. They function fine and I don't get the
message asking me to associate the file with a program - I simply just don't
have the appropriate pictures for the icons. If I open Control Panel for
example - the little icon in the upper left corner is not associated with a
picture. Not sure why this is happening. This computer is less than a week
old.
