Whilst resetting my network setup, if it asks you if you want to enable file
and printer sharing , what would be the normal pratice, I cant remember the
last time that I set this up, I know this is a basic question, I am on win xp
home , just use my computer for pleasure purposes, Is it safer to say no? or
do I need this? The other one I was unsure of was dropped packet schedular?

Do you have more than one computer? If not disable file and printer
sharing. If you have more than one computer and wish to share files and
printers between them, obviously you will need to enable this function.

I do not know what you mean by "dropped packet schedular (sic)". Where
are you seeing this?

Remember that we cannot see your computer from here and you'll need to
be descriptive. "Resetting my network setup" really doesn't tell us
what you are doing.
