File and Print Sharing

Everytime I network my windows xp pro machine on my
firewire drives I have troubles with locking up. Thanks
I appreciate the help if anybody can give some help.

When theya re not shared I can get through just fine.

You have files on a firewire hard drive that you are sharing?

The problem is what, that when are copying files the system locks up ... or
?

What is the actual firewire drive you are using and are you sure you got the
updated drivers from that manufacturer and also are running XPSP1 ?
