file already in use error message

We have an access db on the network. Several users are in
the database at one time without any problems. Some users
cannot connect to the database. I have verified security
on both the network and database. I have deleted and re-
mapped the network drive.

If you are using Access 2000, your users need to

have "create" permission to the network folder that
contains the .mdb file. If the don't, no .ldb file gets
greated and they will have opened the database exclusively.
