write acess to a file was changed how do i undo changes and prevent future
changes in the future?

It depends on your XP version, who changed it, what your setup is, home
standalone box or domain member...etc. IOW, you haven't provided enough
information to get a focused answer.

It can be very hard for a non-technical person to know what to include

i had recently made a addwear file to down load music.....now the file wont
allow me to write to it i have no idea who or what changed it all i know is
that i do not have acess to write to that file folder anymore

What does this mean: "i had recently made a addwear file to down load
music"?
