Does anyone know how I get rid of a black border that has suddenly appeared
around the screen - it´s very off putting.

Thanks

Hi Stan S,

If that's a laptop, here's some solutions ...

Check your manual and see if they list instructions there as to
which BIOS setting or keyboard Fn key you can use to setup
"Fit to Screen" video mode. That's a common laptop feature.

Examples:
Fn+T works for some HP / Compaq's
Fn+F7 works for some DELL's

Another thought that comes to mind is to see if you can start
the game in window mode using a switch (check the game's
readme file) and then maximize that window to Full Screen. ;-)

Please post back with your finding, and I'll add it to my KB. :-)

Thanks for your post Jimmy but unfortunately neither suggestion has helped.
I have a PC not a laptop so discounted the first suggestion. And I don´t
have a manual for the game just the disc so not sure how to access the Read
Me file. As you can see I´m not that computer literate. Any other
suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

Do you have a flatscreen monitor aka LCD TFT?
