I've got my kids staying with me over the school holidays (can't wait to pick them up tonight :-) and was thinking of buying a game I had a semblance of a chance of not getting my sorry ass kicked in. Looking at a footie game, but not played Fifa since the Megadrive! In your opinion what's the easiest to game to get into quickly and not have too many button bashing combinations!

ive got fifa 2006 on my pc
very impressed myself
but ive always been a fifa man myself
 
Easiest, but ultimately shallow = FIFA 06

All round 'better game of football' = PES5

You'll see my thoughts on FIFA 06 on the PC in the not too distant future, but for me, having played both that and PES5 for a few weeks now, the PES series still comes out on top.
 
The kids will find Fifa 06 alot better, as its easyier to score, no matter what setting you have it on, and it has the real player names.

Pro Evo 5 is ultimatly the better game in every way possible in terms of physics and gameplay.
 
i played pro evo 5 on the xbox last nite

maybe i need time to grow into it
but the graphics and commentary let me down.

im definetly a fifa fan
fifa for life!
