Hi. I am new to Access so please bare with me. I opened the sample contact
management database and modified the contacts form. For the most part I just
deleted or copied fields (and then changed those fields to write to the
proper field in the table). The form has a tab form with only one page.
When I try to arrange the tab order, I don't see all of the fields.

When I try to edit the tab index in the properties, I get 0 through 4, and
when I try to do 5, I get a message saying there can only be 0 through 4.

Please help me get all of my fields into the tab order box.

Thank you.

ryan1972,
The main form has it's own tab order, and each Tab Page has it's own
tab order.
When tab ordering the Main Form, make sure the focus was on any main
form control... and order those fields indicated. This should only dispolay
main form objects. (Your TabPage object will be one of those)

When tab ordering the Tab Page, make sure the Tab Page is "Selected"
in design mode, and order those controls accordingly.
(You should only see those tab page controls of the selected tab page)

I'm pretty sure there is only one tab page. There is only the general tab at
the top of the page. However, I was just looking around and most of the
fields are in the detail part. The others say tabContacts. But looking at
the form, they are all inside the one tab page.

I then opened the sample contact management database to see how it was there
and all of the fields are on the detail part. I don't understand how since
all I did was copy fields and change the names.

I was looking around some more and now I realize how this happened. I just
need help fixing it. I would copy a field and then paste it. When I pasted
it, it would go outside of the tab. Then I would just move it down to where
I need it. How can I say I want these fields in the detail part of the form
without moving them?
