Field not found: $$struct0x60018e6-1..

All of a sudden, I received this error the first time I
went to my VS.net C# projects. It appears in the tasks
box.
Now Visual Studio won't let me see the properties of most
web control items - the same error comes up in a message
box. Most of my programs aren't that complex, and this
error type isn't related to any logic I use!
The only thing I have done today since the last time I
successfully ran VS.net was install the MSFT security
updates that appeared on my desktop.
Anyone know what this means? Reinstalling VS.net is not a
road I want to go down!

As I stated, the error wasn't project specific.
The problem was resolved by reinstalling .net framework
1.1
Something must've corrupted it - and the only thing on my
system I had changed was installing the two big MS
security updates. But of course it could've been some
other random corruption!
