I use MS Access 2002 for our audiobook products database. One of the fields
called More Information Text, contains a full description of the title. This
More Information Text field fully visible for most of the 8000+ products
listed, but a few are blank until I select the field.

I would like to understand why the field shows blank and how to "fix" it.

Thanks in advance

Check to see what the contents of the field is in some of the problem records by
copying the contents (after you select the field, copy what is highlighted) and
pasting to notepad. This may provide your answer.

Possibly the field was entered with a carriage-return line-feed as the
first character: you're seeing the blank first line, and only seeing
the remaining data when you select the field. Try displaying the data
in a Form with a textbox taller than one row for this field - does the
data display now?
