I have a Master/Detail form.
As the database grows my Form becames slowly as I navigate throught the
records.
Doesn't happen if I open directly the table master and the details.

It seems that when I open the Form, the Access fetch all records from the
two tables (Master and detail) so i can navigate throught them.

My Access Database has 250MB and saves OLE Objects like ppt documents and
Word/Excel Documents.

Is there a way to increase the performance of the Form?

Try linking the OLE objects instead. Linking will also allow you to edit the
objects and have the current edition available in the db. Also, Compact and
Repair on a regular basis

I can't link the objects. They must be on the database.
Althought, my main problem is how can I limit the number of records fetched
by the Access?

I have another database with one Tab Control witch as on each tab a form
table, and each table as at least more than 200 records. When I open the main
form that contains the main Tab Control, seems to me that Access waits to
fecth all records from all tabs of each table.

Is there any way to restrict the number of records should by fetched by
Access? This could resolve my problem and make my forms run more quickly.
