anyone used this product?

I have a rquirement for some sort of collaboration tool and came up with this
(I'm still reading up on what it does and doesn't do, but so far it looks OK)

see it here - http://www.ventia.com

Simon:

I haven't "used" this per se, but I have tested it extensively and
compared it with other free/cheapware products. I think that it is one
of the best for the money especially since they have a freeware offering.

One of the bigger usage problems I encountered was the way they handle
subdirectories in their filing module. I forget the details, but
essentially, the way they handle subdirectories is not as we have become
familiar with it in Windows. Give it a spin and you'll probably see
what I'm talking about.

The "sharing" of calendars is a bit clunky as it uses a publish and
subscribe metaphor, the result being that you have to subscribe to each
person's calendar to share it. No big deal, but try to get 10 stray
cats to execute a set of commands that they've never done before and are
disinclined to do and...

And that is the biggest problem with collaboration software. If it
doesn't just jump into the user's lap, it will be very hard to get
acceptance for it.

That being said however, what are your needs? Ask 10 people what
collaboration is and you'll get 11 answers.
