Alert Setting should allow us to change how long the pop-
alert shows up from 3-15 seconds at least.

there should also be a auto quarantine if possible to do.
 
There is an auto-quarantine setting, it is off by
default, but is set where you set the schedule for scans.

As far as the scheduling I have a problem with my laptop.

I have it set to scan on startup and everyday at 2AM. But
my laptop is never turned off, it just goes into
hibernation which prevents the 2AM scan and since it
doesn't startup the scheduled scans never take place.

There should be a setting that says "every day at X or
at next possible time"

The best you can do in such a case is set a more reasonable time for MSAS to
scan before the laptop goes in to Hibernation.

Or have it stay up till you click it off. Sometimes when you're busy you
just don't have time to look over there quick and try to read it before it
goes away.
