Can someone tell me (or point me to a resource that can tell me) about
differences in features supported between Word 2000 and Word 2002?

I have users experiencing "broken" formatting when sending their 2002 files
to users with 2000.

Thanks much.

Hi,

In Word 2002, check out the compatability options for
earlier versions via Tools|Options|Compatability.

Cheers

Hi Greg,

In what way is the formatting 'broken'? There were
some changes in graphics positioning and table handling
and Word 2002 has 'smart tags' and the ability to mix some
formatting within a paragraph a bit differently but Word
2000 can deal with most of it in a somewhat transparent method
and you can use the Word 2000 setting in
Tools=>Options=>Compatability for some of those, but
it could also be that another person doesn't have all of
the same fonts available or has selected a different printer
driver, for example, than what the author used.
