Is there a way to lock Outlook down, so that only the
email features are available to users?

What version of Outlook?

What kind of mail server (Exchange? POP3? IMAP?) are you trying to connect
to? I'm not sure you'll be able to lock down Outlook the way you'd like;
but there may be other options:

1. You could turn off the Navigation Pane, which would make it a little
harder - of course the users could just turn it back on, I guess.

2. You could use a different mail client, like Outlook Express, that has
none of the other features. Is it essential that you use Outlook 2003 for
this?

What are you hoping to accomplish by locking Outlook down?
