Windows XP fdisk.sys corrupted

I am trying to install window XP to my Desktop system,i am getting fdisk.sys file corrupted.

Please help me.

Hi Praji916,

Can you please post the specs of your system? That may provide some clues.

This problem could be down to lots of different things, mad memory, hard drive problem, boot sector virus, etc...

Is this install on a new system, or did you encouter a problem and need to do a re-install?

Getting error when i am trying to install Windows XP,
" fdisk.sys is corrupted"

i think this is virus problem,then what i want to do....

need help
