I am trying to run "C:\FDISK /status" on a W2000 Server.
There is no FDISK program on the system. I copied a
4/1999 version from a W98 box. It would not run saying
something about "wrong MS-DOS Version". Do I have to boot
from a floppy with FDISK on it to run it? If your
curious, I'm try to see if my SCSI controller and drive
support INT13 extensions. I was told by a software
manufacturer that if FDISK can see the drive and display
the stats that the SCSI controller supports Int13
extensions.
Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Brian

True. No FDISK. While NTx is tunning only the GUI Disk Management
Interface is similar. There is a XP command-line tool, though I
cannot recall it's name.

Yes. Boot from clean DOS diskette.

That should be in the Drive and/or SCSI Contoller documentation.
Might possibly be seen in the controller's setup program (Often
CTRL+A during boot.
