Hello

On my image I've got the FP2007 installed, and when I manually do a fbreseal
I want to keep everything but have the system name change to a random
number.

I've been running the cmd fbreseal -autologon -keepmounted -keepuser but
each time I reboot that system name stays the same.

Am I doing something wrong here, or should I be looking somplace else?

Also what does keepmounted exactly do anyway?

THanks

I do now, and it's manual, but I was thinking that if I ran the cmd wit
these switches, it would generate a new name

c:\fbreseal -keepuser

Am I wrong?

Billy,

No, unless you have the cmiGenerateComputerName advanced property of the "System Cloning Tool" component set to 1. This property is
triggered by the "Generate New Computer Name" UI option there.

You probably noticed that fbreseal.exe doesn't have any switch related to computer name and how to generate it expect the keepall.
