Hi group

I have some basic questions regarding FBA for which I could not find an
answer.

- If the cloning tool is not included, what happens with phase 8500 and
higher?

- If I add a custom ressource (RunOnce) with built order 8501, why is it
executed on the very first boot somewhere in the middle of this first boot
(PnP ..)?

I am still fighting with "what goes when" since some of my settings just
never work, or are probably overwritten in a later phase, though I have a
built order higher than 8500. What do I set if I want these Custom resource
Registry keys to survive?

Still trying to learn and understand..

Don't confuse build order and phase, they are two different things. The
build order is TD specific while the phase is the space during FBA that you
want something to happen. In order to have control over what phase of FBA
you want something to happen try using an FBA Generic Command instead of a
Run Once request. In the properties of the FBA Gen Command you can set the
phase of FBA that you want the command to execute (in most cases 8500+).
