Faxing

Have Windows XP home edition. Have sent faxes out and received without any problems
Tried to send one to a friend whose running Windows 95 and is using Quiklink. The fax can't get through. I get
message saying "there is no answer". Can someone please give me some ideas. Thanks!

Why do you assume that there's someting amiss with your setup? Maybe your friend's phone is busy or the phone line
has problems. Or maybe your friend's "Quiklink" has problems (and there are several products called "Quiklink").

I'm not assuming there's something wrong with my setup. And my friend has a separate line for the computer.
And her phone, ( Both lines) are working just fine.
I'm just wanting to know if there's something she missed checking off after she got Quicklink up and running. She can
send faxes to me, but she doesn't get mine. I can send to other people and receive.

Windows 95 did have a Fax service of its own. So , sending faxes from XP to
Windows 95 works in general. I am not sure what QuickLink is? Is it some
kind of faxing solution?
If you are using Windows Fax on Win 95, then please provide further details
on what your problem is so we can understand it better.
