Hello All

I am about to convert a fairly complex A2K mdb to A2003, and was wondering
about the best way of enabling the new mdb to fax reports directly. If
anyone has any good ideas about this, I'd be really grateful.

Many thanks

I've also seen a lot of fax software that allows you to fax similarly
to the way you _EMAIL_.

or, if you moved to SQL Server, you could use a SSRS rendering
extension to fax more efficiently

Enjoy yourself, Mr. Kempf, while you can. Where are you going to spew after
6/1/2010?

Access newsgroup support is alive and well in USENET

Actually he's posting via Google so he'll still be able to post as Usenet will keep
the newsgroups alive. However given that MS is dropping the Web UI to the MS NNTP
newsgroups there won't be any questions for him to spew on.

Hello Arvin

Sorry Arvin - just sent my reply to you alone (didn't click "Reply Group!).
Herewith for the Group:

Many thanks for your reply.
I had thought that access had some kind of built-in faxing facility, which
would be better than using some 3rd party software (wouldn't it?).

Thanks again
Les

I'm confused! Who is Mr Kempf, and did he reply to my post? I can't see a
reply from him, apart from its being included in your own reply.
Is there an issue here?

Many of Aaron Kemps postings are automatically removed from MS newsgroup servers due
to his use of profane language. So don't worry about it.

Probably, but, FAX isn't as widely used any more. Most computers no longer
come with a modem to allow faxing. There are Internet faxing applications,
but they generally conform to email. Access does have built in email
capabilities, and can also be automated with Outlook. See:

BTW, Aaron Kempf is considered am Internet troll. He is recognized as such
and his posts are usually removed.
