faxing with XP

My faxes won't send unless I reboot. On reboot, they
send, otherwise they just hang there untill I do so.
 
What Modem are you using to send/recieve Faxes?
Is there any particular Event in the Event Viewer(Start->Admisnitrative
Tools->Event Viewer)
