Only by paying an Internet Fax Service to do it for you. Faxing uses phone
lines.

Is there any way to fax using broadband?
.
I'm trying to figure out that question. Being a noob,
the only way I've been able to make it work is to plug the
PHONE end of the cord (from off the filter --the other
side is always hooked up to the computer for DSL) when I'm
ready to fax or recieve, then turn on fax and tell it to
answer after "blank" number of rings.

It's tiresome plugging and unplugging the line cord into
the pc back, so I'm now looking for some kind of switch
like the a/b toggle we used when fax machines were new,
20+ years ago, where you plugged in both fax and phone,
and kept the toggle turned to the "phone" side until you
were ready to send or receive. At that time, you'd flip
the toggle over to the "fax" side.

Been to many pc stores, and people look at me like I'm
nuts, because they are too young to recall this little low-
tech device.
