Faxing via Email - Extra Line Spaces

I use Outlook 2003, and have just realised that I can
send emails to fax numbers (a real timesaver for me).
This works OK, since the email is sent via network ADSL
line, and the fax sends locally from my workstation.
However, the fax always adds 1 or 2 extra lines after
each paragraph, stetching a 1 page email/fax over 2 pages.
Any idea why this happens?

How could we?
You did not mention the fax software you are using or the method by which
you are sending the fax.

I am using Windows XP Fax Services with an internal
modem, dialling direct to the fax number.
Does this provide enough information?

Russ,
Your questions have helped me resolve the problem. The
extra line spaces appear only when sending in HTML
format. As soon as I change it to Plain Text the problem
disappears.
Many thanks.
