Faxing long distance

Is there something else that needs to be done in dailing rules if you use
long distance codes besides putting it in, in the dailing rules? Thanks in
advance.
 
You may have to insert a wait state, usually with a comma, between the
sections of the number. Sometimes it works better if the longer number is
entered as if it were just a long local number. (Application dependent)
 
My contact numbers are already in the international format but, it still
doesn't work. Do you have any idea what coudl be happening with it? Thanks
