I'll use one computer to serve as a fax server for several people. Now each
of them is able to send out fax, I believe. However, my question is after
receive a fax, can I tell who is the appropriate recipient? And, if the fax
sent from a traditional fax machine, how does it provide the routing
information?

I just read the msdn fax service documents, and found some very brief
description of the fax inbound routing feature. But, I really cannot clearly
figure out what it means, and how to use it.

Therefore, I would like your help to understand this. Thanks a lot!

Best Regards,

You can, but only after seeing the fax & reading the recipient name. There
is no automatic way to extract recipient name from the tif file since its an
image.

So the best you can do is to configure Inbound Routing method 'Email' & have
all received faxes come into your email account's Inbox. From there you can
forward the fax to the appropriate recipient after inspecting the fax.
