When I try to open a fax now, there is a message that fax
could not open, problem parsing the TIFF file. It is
using Adobe Photo Deluxe to open.
1.Can I change to some other software to open the faxes?
2.How do I correct this condition?

You can and you should. TIF files must be associated with the Windows
Picture and Fax viewer, not another viewer. Do so in Windows Explorer >
Tools > Folder Options... > File Types

I don't have windows picture and fax viewer, how to
install them? I use windows XP professional version 2002
with 3com usrobotics 56 faxmodem, when I try to receive a
fax, it will give a message "An error occurred while
receiving a fax. Some more, the call answered when a
single ringing for the first time whereby I set it to
auto answered after 3 ringing. But when receive call for
the second time, only then the call answered after 3
ringing, but unfortunately, the message will come out as
above.

.

You must. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer is a core component and is
installed by default with Windows XP.
