Dick Kistler said:For what OS? There are free(already paid for) versions of Microsoft Fax(Win
95,98) or Fax Services(XP) that allow you to print to fax. The Microsoft Fax
program is on the Win 95 and Win 98 CD's-Microsoft says it won't install on
a machine that didn't have Win 95 installed on it at one time and upgraded
to 98. I think that by messing with it that it could be made to run on a 98
or 98se system. Won't install on ME, though. The Fax services can be
installed by going to add or remove programs > add or remove windows
components > fax services. Both of these allow the basic print to fax
services.
Winfax Lite may still be hanging around. I think that this is the precursor
to WinFax Pro.
Also V3 Callcenter will do faxes and make your $1500 computer into a phone
answering machine.
Hope this helps.

Not sure if this is really a free program. It was offered mainly along with
fax modems a few years ago.

WebWalker said:Yes, this is Winfax Lite 4 freeware, but beware that it is a 16bit
program.
